Privacy Policy — Kapé Tahanan
This page is a template drafted for structural completeness. It has not been reviewed by a licensed Philippine lawyer and should not be relied on as-is — treat it as a placeholder pending real legal review before this business collects real customer data under it.
Who's responsible for your data
Kapé Tahanan ("we", "us") is the business responsible for deciding how personal information collected through this site is used.
What we collect
When you contact us through this site, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, and whichever of your email address or phone number you give us, along with the message itself.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see general traffic patterns (pages visited, approximate location by country/region).
Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies. The analytics described above works without setting a cookie in your browser.
Why we collect it
We use contact-form information only to respond to your inquiry — for example, answering a question or following up on a request. We do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Your consent
We only collect contact-form information when you explicitly agree, via the consent checkbox at the point of submission — we do not collect it silently or by default. By checking the consent box and submitting this form, you agree to this collection.
How it's kept secure
This site is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. Access to submitted messages is limited to people who need it to respond to you.
Who else sees it
We don't sell your information. It may be visible to our hosting/infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) as part of how the site technically operates, but is not shared with other third parties beyond that unless required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period after, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you have the right to: know what personal information we hold about you and why; ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate; ask us to delete or block it; object to or withdraw your consent for its processing; and request a copy of it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@kapetahanan.example. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
If something goes wrong
If we become aware of a data breach that risks your rights or freedoms, we intend to notify affected individuals and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of learning of it, consistent with NPC guidance.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version and effective date at the top of this page reflect the version currently in force.
